Handling of warranties and complaints at Trondheim Bil-Demontering

 

Complaints

Visual damage on part or packaging must be reported to the transporter immediately upon receipt of goods. In our opinion, the goods you have purchased are working satisfactorily. However, there may be various reasons for a complaint. In order for the complaint to be valid, do not disassemble, repair, change, replace or work on the part/car.

If you have a complaint, please contact Trondheim Bil-demontering by telephone, email or via the return form on the website or enclosed in the package.

 

Warranty

Replacement of part or part value:

  • Parts below NOK 300: no warranty
  • Parts from NOK 300 and 5900: 1-month warranty – to let you mount the part and check that it works satisfactorily
  • Parts above NOK 6000: 3-month warranty

Only valid when an authorized workshop has replaced the timing belt, oil and filter. Receipt must be presented.

 

Exchange policy

The policy is primarily to exchange and not to return the goods.
This means that if the purchased goods do not work or fit, you may exchange it in other goods. If you buy the part elsewhere when we have it in stock, we can offer to exchange it in another part or give you a credit note. 

 

Shipping cost

We will not cover the shipping cost in the following cases:

  1. Wrongly ordered goods
  2. Do not need or want the part
  3. When a new part is purchased as a result of a workshop's recommendation
  4. The goods were not as expected - we have photos for quality check prior to purchase
  •  

DO NOT SHIP THE GOODS CASH ON DELIVERY (COD) - IT WILL NOT BE COLLECTED!

 

IMPORTANT TO KNOW PRIOR TO YOUR PURCHASE

We will never cover the cost of mounting and disassembly of parts. This is a risk you will have to take when purchasing used car parts. We control and check each part the best way possible before putting it out for sale, but unpredictable situations may occur. Some parts are also not possible to test. The registration number search will reveal which car you have - not if the current part fits your car.

  • Always remember to check your original part number against the one we have on offer.
  • All our parts are marked and photographed and will be controlled on return.
  • The parts are used and not new.
